Every day should be pride day. In our current socio-political climate, where politics are driven by celebrity, corruption and fear rather than the rule of law and well being of the people; and ignorance and intolerance have become societal norms, we must stand together and defend the communities that are under-represented and often targeted by hate, particularly the LGBTQ communities and people of color.
While every month we host SLAY, a hip hop dance party for LGBTQ and People of Color, presented by Ante Up PDX and Cake PDX, this month’s party is a special pride edition. A portion of every ticket sold will be donated to Planned Parenthood and one other local charity. Join event hosts Bart Fitzgerald and Blaine Provancha as they conduct an epic party with musical selections by Northwest legendary DJs Ronin Roc and DJ Automaton! Booth of Bass will be there as well with a free photo booth set up all night!
Come out and support the local LGBTQ communities and People of Color, it’s more important now than ever. Advance tickets are available here, guaranteeing entry between 9-10pm, but are subject to capacity after 10pm. Tickets are also available at the door, but we’d advise arriving early to avoid waiting in line for one-out-one-in.
