Dirty Princess
Dirty Princess Band is Francesca Bryk, Mikayla Mayhew, and Jewlz Baptiste. They formed about a year ago and have been moving steady ever since. These fiery ladies had a vision to change the dynamics of rock n' roll. They're presence on stage fills the room from the ground up. "The Man vs. My Chevy Van" and 2 other singles that were released in early July are an ode to women who are strong, independent and free. Prepare for a changed perspective.
Whateveryn
WHATEVERYN is a beat selector based in Portland, OR. After more than a decade of classical training in Upper Michigan, she moved to the Pacific Northwest and chose to translate her technique into mixing and production. Since 2014 her time has been dedicated to sharing tunes and hosting events with Sublimate Records, traveling along the West Coast, and sharing stages with numerous influential names including EPROM, Flava D, G Jones, Madam X, and Stööki Sound. Known for crafting genre-spanning soundscapes of dark bass, hip-hop, halftime, and footwork on the decks to evoke movement and emotion, her unmistakable sound brings new life to the dance floor.
KayelaJ
KayelaJ is a 22-year-old openly gay Hip Hop artist from Northeast, Portland who has been rapping since age seven. She got her start performing at local talent shows but only in the last year has she started taking her music career more seriously performing at multiple local venues even scoring a performance on live TV on KGW's Tonight with Cassidy. Most describe her music as conscious, raw, unfiltered, and poetic with strong themes of black/gay/women's empowerment.
Scooty
Born in Houston, now residing Portland Oregon comes Scooty! Soulful tunes that you can relax to, yet relatable subjects that you could laugh to! Scooty‘s approach to music is much different than average artist because her main focus is to create emotion and to leave you with a lasting feeling after you hear one of her tracks. Stay tuned for her new EP coming next year with west coast producer TOPE, it’s gonna make you turn up your volume just to realize, it was already all the way up!
Cry Babe
Cry Babe started because we as women were heckin’ angry. We write songs that sound like sharp tinsel wrapped in heavy feelings. Through creating music we come into our power. We want others who hear our music to feel like they have the same power. We are strong and our experiences matter.
