2025 Guggenheim fellows Holland Andrews and yuniya edi kwon (NYC) will present a propulsive evening-length performance in quartet with local avant-sound artists Methods Body (John Niekrasz & Luke Wyland) brimming with sleight-of-hand grooves, soaring drones, microtones, and Holland’s deeply stirring vocalizations. This quartet combines violin, voice, keys, percussion, & electronics to conjure improvisation at the highest level: a radical act of love and trust. The results are an emergent, urgent, atmospheric art pop with the power to move the heart and mind.
