Longtime Portland musician Kathy Foster (The Thermals, Roseblood, All Girl Summer Fun Band, Hurry Up, Woolly Mountain, et al.) is also DJ KM Fizzy. She has been spinning mostly-all-vinyl sets around town since the mid-aughts, on her own as well as with the DJ crew, Strange Babes (who had a radio show on XRAY FM for 7 years and have hosted many a dance party). KM Fizzy has an extensive and eclectic vinyl collection ranging from soul, garage & rock n’ roll to 80’s underground and R&B to early punk to hip hop to indie to dark wave and beyond. With a love of music that spans genres, you never know what to expect, but it will be a unique and fun time and you’ll likely discover some new gems.
