And And And
And And And
This is not a band that is worried about looking super-hip and being part of the scene. Pretentiousness is a great fear of theirs. honesty is an ambition. They play music that is at once earnest and orchestrated yet out-of-control and off kilter. Their songs range from lo-fi garage pop to folksy ballads with clarinet or trumpet. Their live shows have been known to become sweaty booze soaked singalongs. Band members have injured themselves on stage (or by jumping off the stage) and have been known to be disoriented and half naked at times.

People might like us because we are everyday misfits who happen to have a pretty interesting band. We do look like a mashup of punky, grungy typical Oregon Coast dudes (Nathan still lives part time in his, Ryan's, and Jon's hometown of Reedsport.) And in a general sense, we sound like a modern rock and roll band with guitars and drums and stuff. We try to convey a focused intensity and honest emotion when we play, not finesse and presentation.
Thick Business
BOISE SWEET TARTS THICK BUSINESS TURNS ON THE SMALL CLONES AND TURNS UP THE SEXY. AN INTROSPECTIVE DANCE PARTY FOR TRIPPY SAD SACKS AND PARTY GOERS ALIKE.
Bryson Cone
Bryson Cone
Bryson Cone is pop, jazz(ish), soul(ish), synth, goofy, art rock, bla bla blarf. The Cone is sexy sax and synth, melty guitars, Brian Wilson Bowie vocals and old soul drums and bass. Imagine the sound of a synth being dropped in a boiling pot of Nickelodeon slime with tiny operatic singers chopped up and sprinkled on top by a sad clown poet cooking in his spaceship on a long ride home to planet Conia.

Bryson Cone is a solo project started by Bryson Hansen in March 2016. Hansen is an artist living and working in Portland, OR. Hansen has played in various other projects including main songwriter and singer for Fog Father, synth wizard for Reptaliens, guitar geek for Sex Money Monks and a few live guitar gigs with Gary Wilson. Bryson Cone is yet to release a debut EP, but hope to have the first freak-pop melt down avail in early 2017.
Ah God
Ah God is heavy fuzzed-out art grunge with a DIY recording ethic. Heavy drum beats are carried to your ears softly and sweetly on the backs of stoney guitar melodies of the utmost sensuality. Straight out of Portland, OR, Ah God freshly emerges from the current scene, coming at you with loud bouquets of floral punk and the fuzzy sweetness you didn't know your life was missing.
