Residing somewhere on the spectrum between New York no wave and Manchester post-punk, one can hear influences as broad as Sonic Youth, Yoko Ono, ESG and Magazine. Rayon released their debut full length record, Eclipse, November 2018 on Portland's XRAY Records. A series of singles was released during Spring of the 2020 Covid-19 quarantine, and a second full-length record, Colour, will be released this winter on Little Cloud Records. Wave Action is a Portland punk rock and roll band comprised of twin brothers Darin and Clinton O'Brien. Having played music together since they were children, the two formed the band in 2015, now joined by Mitchell Gonzales on guitar. Their music possesses pop sensibilities with hints of new wave, post punk and surf rock.
