Through moody lyricism and anachronistic synth strokes, the band creates a sonic milieu of blue-eyed-soul and Band Aid era pop. Unique narratives are at the heart of each tune. After teaming up with Portland record label Literal Gold, Seance Crasher released their first full-length LP, Air Apparent in the Spring of 2023. They are currently at work on a follow-up studio album slated for early 2025. Colin Jenkins is a purveyor of crystalline, catchy and funky future-pop. Colin Jenkins blends together 70's soul and 90's R&B under a bed of modern production. Jenkins will be releasing an album this coming summer of 2024. 10 songs of upbeat heartbreak and loungey jazz chords. Jenkins' band features local slay-dragons Alexander Thomas, Justin Chase and Machado Mijiga Self described as “Kinda moody, kinda groovy,” Portland-based indie rock outfit Simple Shapes walk the line between a revival of classic late 90s/early 2000s indie rock and modern pop-rock production.
