Join OPB, KMHD and Albina Music Trust for an evening of exploration of Portland’s unique hip-hop history. Featuring a short documentary produced in partnership by OPB’s “Oregon Experience” team, KMHD Jazz Radio and Albina Music Trust, these stories go beyond the beats to feature the Portland artists, record stores and community institutions that’s built our city’s hip-hop culture. After the screening, stay for a panel conversation with some of the featured artists from the documentary and enjoy a live DJ set from KMHD “Jazz Without Boundaries” DJs.
