Whether you’re coming with a partner, a group of friends, or flying solo, don’t miss this chance to celebrate the season in style. Dress to impress in semi-formal to glamorous attire encouraged. _______________________________________________________________________________ The Neon Prairie Dogs In a thriving Portland country scene, The Neon Prairie Dogs stand out for their idiosyncrasy, virtuosity, and ability to rock a room down to its foundations. Singer-songwriter and guitar whiz Samuel Cody Matson inhabits country music’s long tradition of rhinestone cowboys— flashy costumes, white-hot solos, and a beefy baritone, but with a darkly comic songwriting style that betrays a deep vulnerability and uncertainty behind the glitz and glamor. They have been described as being “like Waylon on acid.” The band is rounded out by Zach Retzl on bass and Jonathan Ventrella on drums.   H-Dawg & The Smawg Seven member Bongo-Based Garage Yacht act with a danceable edge. They will be releasing their first single off their new album “A Rock n’ Roll Fever Dream” due in May. Featuring Harrison Wallace on lead vocals and guitar, Ibolya Mandoki on backing vocals and sax, Caelum Cooney on lead guitar, Billy Manggala on bass and backing vocals, Issak Boorstein on keys and backing vocals, with Adam Sandgren on drums, and Logan Strong on drums/percussion. You can keep up with their antics on instagram @hdawgandthesmawg   DJ Bryson Wallace Bryson Wallace is a vinyl DJ and Artist originally from Bakersfield, California providing eclectic sounds of jazz and soul to the PNW for just over 2 years with a focus on exploration and music education. Wake the Town 10 Year Anniversary w/ BAMBII (TIX AVAILABLE AT DOOR) – 21+

LIMITED TIX AVAILABLE AT DOOR Wake the Town is a dancefloor-focused event series based in Portland, Oregon, curated by DJs Barisone, Danny Corn, and PRSN. Known for its diverse range of genres and tempos, the event highlights the evolving sounds of modern bass music. Wake the Town has built its reputation on featuring forward-thinking artists from around the globe, played host to international events, and has garnered recognition from publications like Mixmag.   BAMBII:Toronto-based producer and DJ, BAMBII, makes lush, exuberant electronic music that feels futuristic and transportive, but also burrows into your bones, matches the pounding of your heartbeat, all while reminding you of your corporeality. Her Juno award winning debut EP, Infinity Club, plays with these dueling impulses, weaving between the immediate and the conceptual. It is a celebration of home and belonging not only as a physical space – the dance floor, her family’s homeland of Jamaica, which she pays homage to via dancehall – but also as a state of mind. Whether online or on dancefloors, her political and musical vernacular give credence to dance music’s ever expanding reach, and the relationships it helps forge between individuals, cultures, and spaces. As proof, she has spent the last few years touring Europe, and Asia as a solo artist and on support for some of the world’s most relevant artists – Mykki Blanco, Kelela, and BbyMutha. On this side of the Atlantic, BAMBII is a Boiler Room mainstay, is hitting billboards throughout Times Square, and plays host to the infamous Toronto based event series ‘JERK’, showcasing the most exciting artists in the Caribbean diaspora. Publications are also keeping afloat – Wonderland, VOGUE, CRACK, DUMMY and DAZED all want a piece, and for good reason. Mixmag placed BAMBII’s name near the top of the list of DJs Who Defined 2024.   Instagram   Mixmag in the Lab   Boiler Room   Spotify   Soundcloud

New Body Electric, Ringdown – 21+

New Body Electric It all started with a trumpet. New Body Electric brings the groove with self-produced tracks (baked fresh and organic in Portland, OR) that will make you want to dance. Exploring the worlds of disco, funk, and electropop, their live set is full of surprises, with trumpet breakdowns, dreamy guitar solos, and beefy bass hooks. “The synths soar across galaxies, the vocal hooks know exactly when to lean into a vocoder, and there’s even a guitar solo.” – Vinyl Moon   Ringdown’s music is like calling your first love on a rotary telephone, percussively tearing out the hammers from a 1924 vintage upright, and flinging each of them into space while you wait for every heartache you’ve ever felt to quietly return. Collaborators Caroline Shaw and Danni Lee—who between the two of them have a Pulitzer Prize, a handful of Grammys, and a “Best Drum Major” Award—describe Ringdown as an electronic cinematic pop duo from Portland, Oregon. Others have described Ringdown as the love child of Johannes Brahms and Brandi Carlile—if they were born in the same century and if Brahms was a queer woman. You decide.

The Quality, Any Ghosts, A Constant Stream of Lies – 21+

The Quality rose from the ashes of earlier Portland bands that perished in the heat of rock music’s flame. Tempered by the raw power of fire, The Quality came out harder, hotter, and sexier than ever with a new edge that cuts through the kevlar of complacency and dumps acid on the status quo. Blending riotous noises of their youth heroes with modern sonic soundscapes, The Quality produce music that tips a hat to past legends such as Iggy Pop, Pixies, and Nirvana, with an added twist of the new millennium and all the chaos of today’s increasingly trembling world. Slashing guitars, crashing drums, bone shaking bass, and soul piercing synths coalesce in an orchestral cacophony, carrying howling vocals that explore the dregs of civilization and the characters in it, scratching tooth and nail to propel out of the darkness and emerge stronger than ever to rage against the society that threw them into the pits of decay. Rock music has a rich history of showcasing and elevating the outcasts of the world; The Quality keep this tradition alive one song and one show at a time.
