midwxst: Archangel Tour – All Ages!

The songs of midwxst feel like beacons in a tempest, a blend of rap, rock and whatever else he needs to bottle up the exact feeling in his heart. The Indiana artist developed his chameleonic style in the pandemic-era hyperpop scene, emphasizing sincerity and transparency in songs like his grungy hit “Trying.” Whether he is rapping over rage beats or penning sweet ballads, midwxst wants to provide listeners a path forward through relationships, identity formation and the internet. He wants to be the voice he wished he had in school, where he was bullied and faced depression and anxiety. Growing up in a military family, midwxst learned to adapt to any situation, whether it was prepping a stage for a theater performance or making music with kids on the internet. He’s emerged from the latter scene as one of its most promising and ambitious voices. His latest album archangel is a full concept album and his most immersive world to date. The name and concept for the album is derived from the meaning of an archangel as a high-ranking angel in various religious traditions. midwxst notes, “archangel is more than a project to me. It’s a representation of change and transformation from all that I’ve experienced in the last couple of years. The music on this project talks about my mental health, my friendships, and my family. There is a lot of hurt and growth – this project is a testament to the importance of healing and moving forward.”

Anna of the North – Early Show – All Ages!

Anna of the North is that dreamy voice behind viral hits like “Lovers” and “Dream Girl” — and yes, that’s her alongside Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean and Kali Uchis on Flower Boy. With her signature blend of vulnerable lyrics, floaty synths, and icy Scandi vibes, Anna’s been quietly shaping the global pop scene for a minute. Now? She’s having a full-circle moment. “Lovers” has blown up all over TikTok, streaming over 600k streams daily, pushing her to 5M+ monthly listeners and unlocking a whole new wave of fans. Her live shows? Emotional, raw, and lowkey euphoric.
And the best part — Anna’s just getting started again. She’s dropping the first single from her upcoming album later this year, marking a bold new chapter in her sound. Stay tuned.

foamboy (Single Release!), Seance Crasher, Nosila – 21+

foamboy is a Portland-based pop duo comprised of producer Wil Bakula and vocalist Katy Ohsiek. Wil and Katy worked together for many years in other projects before creating their debut pop album, My Sober Daydream, in 2020 and releasing it in 2021. My Sober Daydream has launched this duo into a new stage of their careers. Since then, they have released their sophomore record Eating Me Alive and the Lime, Knife, Time, Hand EP. Foamboy songs have played on KCRW and KEXP, placed on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, and led to press coverage from the Portland Mercury and Willamette Week, the latter describing foamboy as one of Portland’s “Best New Bands.” The band is currently playing frequent shows on the west coast and is in the process of recording the next LP.   —   Seance Crasher is the recording alias of Portland artist Kevin Rafn, accompanied on stage by Lia Gist, Scott Harlan, and Tyler Verigin. Through moody lyricism and anachronistic synth strokes, the band creates a sonic world of blue-eyed soul and sophisticated pop. Unique narratives are at the heart of each tune. Seance Crasher released their first full-length LP, Air Apparent, in the Spring of 2023. They are currently working on a follow-up studio album. —   Nosila began her musical journey armed with a classical singing degree in one hand and a guitar in the other. For years, she followed the well-trodden path of a folk singer-songwriter, but it wasn’t until she moved to Portland, OR in 2017 that she truly found her voice. Starting over in a new city meant leaving behind her usual collaborators. Instead of rushing to replace them, she embraced the challenge of producing music herself. As she learned the craft, it became clear her sound was evolving beyond folk. In 2018, Nosila rebranded and began releasing pop music, carving out her own niche in what she calls “sad girl electropop.” In 2019, she released her debut EP, drawing inspiration from artists like Dirty Projectors, The Japanese House, Billie Eilish, James Blake, and Sylvan Esso. Her second EP, It Will Never Be Like It Was, leaned into 80s-inspired drums, vocoder-heavy tracks like “Lonely,” and explored themes of love and the complex process of letting go of the baggage from her religious upbringing. Nosila’s sound is a blend of earworm melodies, filtered vocal layers, minimalistic drums, and elements borrowed from R&B, indie, and 80s and 90s pop. These sonic textures serve as a canvas for stories about addiction, betrayal, justice, connection, healing—and even joy. While her music has embraced a decidedly pop direction, it retains the lyrical depth and emotional resonance of her folk roots, a testament to the early days of her musical journey.
