MOVED TO WONDER BALLROOM – Cosmo Sheldrake – North America Tour w/Heather Wolf – All Ages
The astonishing twenty-one tracks on Cosmo Sheldrake’s forthcoming album, Eye To The Ear, range from celebratory anthems to soulful elegies to irresistible dance numbers. Animated by themes of interconnection and symbiosis, Cosmo’s expansive musical imagination is rooted in practices of listening – both to human and more-than-human sound worlds. Eye To The Ear, Cosmo’s most accomplished creation to date – as producer, composer, performer and songwriter – makes it clear that the living world is a noisy and musical place with the power to change the way we think, feel, and imagine. Cosmo is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, accomplished live improviser, and field recordist from London who started playing the piano at the age of four. Since his first single ‘The Moss’ (2014), Cosmo has built a large audience of dedicated listeners. A series of successful EPs, ‘Pelicans We’ (2015), ‘Do’ (2021), and ‘Wild Wet World’ (2023) have fueled viral social media successes.

Grimiss, Vonnie Kyle, Kenzy Peach – 21+
Formed in the autumn of 2020 in Portland, Oregon by guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Ryan Tippmann and vocalist Tristina Bumgarner, Grimiss combines intricate sonic atmospheres with driving rhythms, searing guitars and sultry yet powerful vocals to create music that is both complex and immersive. Drawing from a wide array of genres and influences both classic and modern, they have managed to craft a unique sound that is distinctly their own, straying from conventional song structures and cliches yet, still maintaining a sense of familiarity and accessibility.Bringing a high energy live experience featuring the duo backed by a drum machine, Grimiss has been hard at work making waves across the local Portland music scene and west coast with hopes to bring their music to a national audience in the near future. — Vonnie Kyle is a Portland-based rock musician known for her powerful voice and electrifying performances. She has become a standout in the local music scene with her bold, unapologetic sound and emotional storytelling, creating a unique blend of hard-hitting rock and introspective lyrics. In 2022, Vonnie released her album Imperfect Parts, which highlighted her dynamic vocal range and raw, authentic songwriting. The album was praised for its emotional depth and rock-driven energy, earning her a dedicated fanbase and solidifying her reputation as a force in the rock genre. Building on this momentum, Vonnie released two hard rock singles, Is It? in 2023 and Something More in 2024, marking her evolution from a pop-rock artist to a formidable presence in hard rock. These tracks showcase her growing confidence in experimenting with a darker, more intense sound. This transformation reflects her desire to push boundaries, both musically and lyrically, while staying true to her identity as a storyteller. Currently, Vonnie is working on a new EP, pushing her sound deeper into the hard rock realm with heavier riffs and darker themes. Influenced by Queens of the Stone Age and St. Vincent, she draws from their raw intensity and experimental edge, bringing those elements into her own evolving style. With her commanding voice, guitar prowess, and fearless approach to music, Vonnie Kyle continues to carve her place in the rock world.
