Quannnic w/ kmoe. – Early Show – All Ages!

quannnic is a self-produced singer-songwriter from Florida. After playing hundreds of shows with friends growing up, they then created their own genre-bending and noisy signature style of homespun indie rock. Quannnic’s debut LP “Kenopsia” was released through their friend’s DistroKid account and Bandcamp, and became a breakout moment for the 19-year-old, who has since accumulated 157 million+ streams across their catalog. Over a year and a half after its relatively quiet release, the third single “life imitates life” hit #9 on Spotify’s Viral 50 – US and landed on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.   The same week that they hit their Billboard peak, Quannnic released their sophomore studio LP “Stepdream” self-engineered alongside Photographic Memory and Chris Gehringer. The single “South” featured a collaboration with Jeff Schroeder of Smashing Pumpkins, and the campaign coincided with their first tour: a co-headline run with label-mate Jane Remover. The success of both LPs led to festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Sick New World, and two tours as direct support for Shoegaze pioneers Slowdive. With their sonically darkest album “Warbrained” and first headlining North American tour upcoming, quannnic is gearing up for their most ambitious run so far.

ARKHAM SUNSET (Album Release!), Mnemonic Pulse, Lies We Were Told – 21+

ARKHAM SUNSET, the electronic project led by Portland based producer Gerry Hathaway, blends cinematic layers of industrial, synth-pop, EBM and dark ambient textures for a uniquely stimulating experience. The sound is driven by a select merge of analog and digital synthesizers and drum machines. His passion for vintage horror and sci-fi subtly influences the themes woven throughout his music. Hathaway has spent nearly a decade developing his unique sound, releasing three full length albums and half a dozen EPs. His latest album, “Beneath”, released in fall, 2024 is widely regarded as his strongest material to date.   Arkham Sunset performances are an immersive visual experience, brought to life by artist Lee Ann Hathaway, Gerry’s wife, who designs and manages the lighting, stage elements and video projections. Together they craft a dynamic atmosphere that blends innovative music with retro-futuristic visuals.   Mnemonic Pulse is the Portland-based post-industrial/ambient void artist Caitlin Love. As a longtime musician/experimental artist in bands such as Hot Victory, Desert City Soundtrack, and Duo of Destruction (to name a few), Love broke out on their own in early 2019 with the eponymous Mnemonic Pulse release. Under the MP moniker Love conjures up undulating sonic masses with serene loops and melodic sequences clashing with broken glass samples and distorted rhythms.   Lies We Were Told: Heavy and melodic, pulling from post-punk, darkwave, pop and gothic themes. Their sound, though unique, is reminiscent of earlier bands like Killing Joke and Joy Division, evoking a sound from another era, while remaining at home alongside modern bands in the post-punk revival camp.

The Clotheshorse Podcast – 21+

AboutClotheshorse. Clotheshorse began as a podcast on a mission to pull back the curtain of glamour and mystery that obscures the real truths about the clothing we buy. After all, clothing is a basic need. It keeps us warm and protects us from the sun. Yet it can be an addiction, and certainly a way we show the world exactly who we dream of being. Shopping is both a hobby and a social activity, so it’s no wonder that the average American buys a new piece of clothing every 5.5 days! We spend so much money looking at clothes, buying clothes, and talking about clothes. Do we know the true price of our clothes? Who makes them? How are they made? The answers to these questions contain some very dark truths and many extremely toxic practices. Clotheshorse explores them all. Over time, Clotheshorse has evolved into an exploration of life in late state capitalism, from our experiences as workers to our relationship with consumerism.
