SNOW STRIPPERS W/ CLUB EAT & UFFIE (DJ SET) – 21+

Advance tickets are now sold out. We will have a limited number for sale at the door when we open at 9pm night of show.Snow Strippers is a duo made up of members Tatiana Schwaninger and Graham Perez. They met in Florida in 2018 and began making music together towards the end of 2021, forming the band Snow Strippers. Graham had been producing music for years, while Tati had no previous experience making music before. They make electronic music that they want to listen to. They do all of their creative, visuals and merch independently. They run the band along with their label, Nice Bass Bro. Their third full length project, April Mixtape 3, dropped May 2023 on Surf Gang Records.Club Eat is the collaboration between producer Chicken and DJ and vocalist Ren G. Originally starting as a series of parties around NYC, the duo soon began to create their own music under the Club Eat moniker. Their sound takes playful, sexy, dance-focused beats, and pairs them with cheeky, minimally processed pop lyrics. The result is a richly layered sound that lives somewhere between Club Eat’s dance-focused past and their jarring fresh take on power pop. Having recently released their debut album “Start,” the duo keeps delivering on their promise that what they did yesterday, is always just the beginning. Uffie is the project of the globe-trotting artist and fashion icon Anna-Catherine Hartley. Formerly signed to Ed Banger Records, she became acquainted with legendary producers of the early 2000s French electronic music scene. Her first viral hit song “Pop The Glock,” was originally posted on MySpace and launched her fame in the Bloghouse era of dance music. She collaborated with the French electronic duo Justice on “TThhEe PPaARRtTYY,” which appeared on their Grammy nominated album Cross in 2007. Her debut album, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, was nominated at the French Victoires de la Musique for Best Electronic Album in 2010. She has since collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Charli XCX, Galantis, and Mr. Oizo, to name a few. Uffie returned In 2018 writing for other artists and releasing her EP Tokyo love hotel which includes the single “Drugs.” Her sophomore full-length, Sunshine Factory, was executive produced by Toro y Moi and released last spring. The Faint (DJ set) – w/ Drew Cornwall (DJ set) – 21+

Todd from The Faint will be doing a special DJ set of music that has been inspiring their forthcoming record, including artists like Errol Alkan, Tensnake, and Bit Funk, as well as lesser heard classics from the likes of Depeche Mode, Grauzone, The Human League and Soft Cell. He will also feature his own private edits and remixes. with local DJ support from Drew Cornwall! Do you remember a time when the synthesized sounds of the ’80s were a regular part of the modern musical landscape? The members of The Faint do, because they were there when it started to happen. In fact, you could even say they’re one of the main reasons it happened at all. The Faint, founded in Omaha in the mid-‘90s, have always created against the grain, disinterested in making anything except what their own inspiration drives them to make. Each album since their 1998 debut Media has shifted and evolved that desire. Some albums, like 1999’s Blank-Wave Arcade, came from urgent, short recording processes, while others, like 2004’s Wet From Birth, were more carefully constructed. For 2001’s Danse Macabre, they set their sights a bit further afield, attempting to conjure the energy of bumping Berlin dance floors from nearly 5,000 miles away in eastern Nebraska. The musicians themselves are the constant, together embracing a style that is truly unlike every other band out there.

The Fourth Wall, Hannah Glavor, Malachi Graham – 21+

The Fourth Wall was formed in 2011 on the island of Oahu. After releasing their first record (Motion & Rest), they quickly gained local notoriety, opening for visiting national acts like Andrew Bird, The Shins, and Menomena. In 2012, The band relocated to Portland, Oregon. Since their move, they’ve released two highly acclaimed records through Portland label, Bug Hunt. The Portland Mercury called their 2015 album (Lovely Violence) “something of a wonder: an engrossing, fully realized and vitalized record with no easy musical touchstone.”  The band went on a few tours following the release of Lovely Violence and landed an opening spot with Band of Horses.  Like their second record, their latest release, Infinite Other (2018) was self-recorded in a variety of locations (including an empty warehouse in southeast Portland). Atwood Magazine writes of the record, “Littered with intimate reflections on the individual’s relationship with the world, the record marries raw noise with tasteful melodies and vulnerable emotions to craft a powerful, enveloping, and uniquely enchanting listening experience that is sure to stand the test of time.” After the release of Infinite Other, The Fourth Wall toured with fellow Portland band Typhoon. They are currently recording their fourth album. Hannah Glavor’s music is a mature meld of indie rock revelry and raw folk spirit, clutched together by catching pop elements. Her evocative lyricism, intimate vocal delivery, and enthralling arrangements conjure a compelling and eclectic blend of comparisons from Faye Webster to Fleet Foxes to Torres to Metric. With her co-produced album “So Far, So Long” (2020), crafted with the analog masters at Mason Jar Music in Brooklyn, New York, (Feist, Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird, Chris Thile) Hannah’s new solo work beckons a new chapter of sound distinct from her former indie-folk family band days (2011-16).  Her songs and mantra have not ceased to strive to give language to hope; having weathered losses, difficult transitions, and surviving brain surgery in 2017. Her cry for peace and hope, even in the worst of life’s storms, is an invitation for all to fight to see and love others around them. Hannah is a seasoned Portland artist and has been on the West Coast scene for the past decade sharing the stage and touring and performing with a broad range of sound (Liz Vice, Joseph, Y La Bamba, Catherine Feeney, Evan Way (Parson Redheads), Josh Garrels, Alela Diane). With a voice able to adapt from singing gospel and soul at the Waterfront Bluesfestival with Liz Vice to choruses in Spanish with Luz Elena Mendoza; from Country/Americana in Portland pubs to Alt-rock in punk venues in Seattle; the wooded stages at Pickathon, to intimate acoustic folk shows, Hannah’s diverse but seasoned voice stands out with a sound all her own.   Malachi Graham is a songwriter from Portland who twines her incisive lyrics and inventive sounds around the complexity of personal relationships. Her newest songs explore codependency, unraveling loves, chronic pain, grudges, flings, and the boundaries of the self. Her music centers on her clear, emotive voice and empathetic lyricism, layered within spacious and swirling instrumentals, ranging from snarling electric guitar to contemplative synths to mournful fingerpicking. Graham has spent the last decade immersed in Portland music, songwriting and performing in genres from country/Americana to alternative pop. She is the lyricist and vocalist of the indie pop band Small Million (Tender Loving Empire), formed with long-time collaborator Ryan Linder.
