BENEFIT FOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF IN TURKEY & SYRIA: Ghost Feet, Outwith, Veradas – 21+

This show will benefit Oxfam’s earthquake emergency response in Turkey and Syria, which is expected to include water and sanitation, shelter and food support as well as longer-term rehabilitation and reconstruction.   After releasing their debut record, Together Alone (Dropping Gems, 2015), Ghost Feet decided to shelve the project to focus on their respective solo projects.   The duo later reconvened at a Portland studio during the pandemic to build on a sound The FADER once called “…the audio equivalent of dappled sunlight, winking and blinking through the shade”. During those initial studio sessions of live instrumentation, Ghost Feet added lead vocalist Jessie Branch, who records and produces as Erina. The trio leapt into the creative unknown by embracing the experimental sonic textures of 4AD Records over programmed electronics. They have since added bass player Ryan Scott and drummer Benjamin Tyler to their lineup.   What resulted from those sessions was the new single, It Disappeared. Rejecting a return to form, their newest single is soaked in rich guitar textures carried by cinematic melodies elevated by the silkiness of Jessie’s ethereal voice.  Ghost Feet is Nuri Erdal, Rachel Dubuc, Jessie Branch, Ryan Scott, and Benjamin Tyler, and is based in Portland, Oregon by way of Olympia, Washington. They have released a series of EPs and the full-length Together Alone on Dropping Gems. Their music has been featured in VICE, Impose Magazine, The FADER, Earmilk, XLR8R, and other music publications.  It Disappeared is Ghost Feet’s first release as a five-piece and they anticipate releasing an LP in the spring of 2023.

CANCELED: Elita – All Ages

DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES, ELITA’S TOUR HAS BEEN CANCELED. ALL TICKET BUYERS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REFUNDED.Growing up in Cupids, Newfoundland, Canada, a town of less than 800 people, Elita spent most of her childhood in isolation. With encouragement from her parents, she developed artistic skills in photography, drawing, dancing, singing and music. She changed high schools frequently as a teenager. Feeling removed from friends, she found comfort in social media, where she began gaining a following on instagram in 2015, and began modeling. In 2017, Elita launched her own business, designing zines and a few years later, a weapons jewelry line. That same year, she met her boyfriend, Tim. Although Elita hadn’t engaged in anything musically since she was a teenager, Tim recognized her musical potential and encouraged her to start singing again. The couple recorded a cover of ‘After Hours’ by the Velvet Underground. With a growing interest in the cinematic arts, Elita focused on writing a movie script with Tim (to no success). However this attempt at collaboration led to them writing their first single, ‘I Hate Everyone But You’ (2018). They had no intention of making the song public, but after recording a test demo, they decided to release it. Tim concentrated on writing more songs with his bandmates, and sending these instrumentals to Elita who would write lyrics and perform vocals. This collaboration led to the eventual recording and release of Elita’s debut EP, ‘Sick Girl’ (2019), which was followed by the ‘Blood Sucker’ (2020) and ‘Anxiety Angel’ (2021) EPs. The projects combined have over 30M streams.

Andi Mitchell: The Rule Book Tour – All Ages – w/ Rachel Grae, Lisa Heller & Carrington Zane Sklar

A performer since birth, there has never been a question of which path Andi would find herself on. Taking vocal lessons at age six and finding a passion for songwriting in the form of theater camp classes at eight, Andi has been honing her skills for as long as she can remember. Putting these building blocks to use seriously at 11 when she really began to write songs and craft the inklings of what would develop into a more defined sound and aesthetic – Andi learned deeply through play as she’d make parodies of her favorite songs. These steps led her to moving across the country from her home in New Jersey to LA at 16, and now, at 19, she’s begun to carve out a lane for herself with a string of anthemic pop smashes across the last year. Channeling influences from Avril Lavigne to Sam Smith, Andi gets closer to full realization with every song – her personality on special display across recent releases “Get Your Attention” and “Wish We Were Strangers”. Keeping herself open as she connects with her growing audience via TikTok lives and Zoom meet-n-greets, Andi’s world becomes evermore defined as one of flowing blonde hair and stunning vocal performances that only pull in listener’s as they get to know her. Andi never shies away from displaying her genuine self, pulling inspiration for her songs directly from her own life experiences and displaying them against driving sonics in an attempt to help people come to terms with their own stories by seeing how unapologetically she shares her own.
