Beer for Breakfast is a Replacements cover band from Portland, Oregon, celebrating the messy brilliance, heartfelt songwriting, and defiant charm of one of alternative rock’s most influential bands. Fronted by Zac Thayer, the group leans into the spirit of The ’Mats—where punk recklessness meets vulnerable melodies, and anything can happen at any moment. Beer for Breakfast plays these songs the way they were meant to be played: loud, loose, and with just enough heartache under the hood.

Rose Parade: Formed in 2021 in Portland, Oregon, this jazz-influenced Elliott Smith tribute band brings a fresh and deeply emotive perspective to the late songwriter’s catalog. Featuring Shiloh Schatzkamer on vocals, Aber Miller on keyboards, Sean Vinson on bass, and Brian Sussman on drums, the group reimagines Smith’s intimate, melancholic songs through lush harmonies, nuanced improvisation, and dynamic interplay. Drawing from Portland’s rich musical landscape, the ensemble pays homage to Smith’s legacy while exploring new emotional and sonic terrain in his work.

If Portland based indie folk rock band Mars FM isn’t frolicking through lush PNW forests or drinking tea, they’re probably jamming to a Neil Young song in their basement. Heavily inspired by his work for their originals, the band naturally decided to start performing shows dedicated to Neil Young’s music. Having listened to Neil Young for most of their lives, Mars FM knows a wide range of his discography and love playing both his hits and his deep cuts. This is a show for the Neil heads, and features pedal steel guitar, banjo, warm tube amps, harmonica, and a lot of love for Neil.
