Tiffany Day: Lover Tofu Fruit Tour w/ Piao – All Ages
Tiffany Day, raised in Kansas and born in Toronto, is a 24-year old artist and songwriter based in Los Angeles. After catapulting onto the scene with a viral video of her cover of “Hallelujah”, Tiffany Day cultivated a fanbase on YouTube to 1 million subscribers. While in college, she began independently releasing music and garnering the attention of hundreds of thousands of fans nationwide. Her smash single “If I Don’t Text You First” has over 25+ million on-demand streams and helped earn her placements on Sirius XM, Spotify, Apple Music and more. Her single “Dreams Abt Optimism” was placed in the hit Spanish Netflix show “Raising Voices”. As a live performer, Tiffany’s hands-on approach of meticulously designing every aspect of her performances resonates with her fanbase who will scream every lyric to her songs back at her. Her DJ-interludes have made it out of the live show as well; Tiffany most recently has embarked on remixing her own songs under this alias ‘MONOLID’ and building the two together. Entering into 2024, Tiffany has played shows with Jeremy Zucker, Eric Nam, Benee, Blu DeTiger and most recently wrapped up her own massively successful headlining tour, selling out venues across the US, including The Roxy, Rickshaw Stop, The Voodoo Room, and more. While fully independently funding her first headline tour, ‘The Gratitude Tour’, Tiffany brought on documentary filmmaker Henry Thong to capture the journey. The film landed spots in various film festivals, and won the People’s Choice award at the Toronto Asian Artist Film Festival 2023. Her debut album, Lover Tofu Fruit, released in September 2024, was the culmination of years of dedicated fan growth. The first single “Hella Boy Crazy” landed her playlist covers on Spotify as well as selection of their APIHM 2024 artist to spotlight and earned her a front page feature on Genius. Her next chapter, the Lover Tofu Fruit Tour will see her back on the road playing in some of her biggest rooms yet. Sofia Kourtesis dj w/ Anish Kumar & Julean – 21+
Sofia Kourtesis There’s a surprising relationship at the centre of Sofia Kourtesis’ debut album Madres. Analbum in large part dedicated to her mother, there’s also another person, one withoutwhom this album would never have been made. Peter Vajkoczy. Vajkoczy is a neurosurgeon, one of the very best neurosurgeons in the world in fact, and Madres is dedicated to him. Thestory of how a world-renowned neurosurgeon came to appear in the liner notes of thisrecord is one of tenacity, miracles, all-consuming love and ultimately, of hope. When she began work on her debut, Kourtesis was seemingly unstoppable. A string ofrapturously received EPs and singles made her one of the fastest rising stars in the electronicworld and beyond. She has already graced the cover of Mixmag, released a brilliantlyenergetic and moving Resident Advisor ‘RA Session’, appeared on ‘End of Year’ lists from thelikes of The New York Times, Pitchfork, DJ Mag and Spotify (#6 Best Electronic Song) andplayed instant sell-out early shows at London’s Lafayette and Manchester’s YES as well asstandout performances at Glastonbury, Green Man, Wide Awake and Primavera and tourssupporting Caribou and Bicep. Anish Kumar has had an unstoppable 18 months. A slew of releases over the last few years, including recent EPs ‘Postcards’ and ‘Bollywood Super Hits!’ have led to co-signs from the likes of Four Tet, Daphni, Bonobo, Danny Howard and Pete Tong. Following festival appearances across Dialled In, Four Tet’s All-Dayer and Field Day, he also appeared across the UK and EU, consistently appearing on billings across major cities, playing at revered venues such as The Warehouse Project and Printworks. His debut mixtape is 10 tracks that saunters between genres seamlessly. “It’s quite sample-heavy,” he says of the tape. “It’s a journey through my life and reliving that hunger I had when I would come home every day after school and just be making tracks. ” The mixtape itself is full of “sugar sweet samples” and catchy hooks built for the big room; none of it veers into “cheesiness” territory, though. “I’m not shying away from pop moments on this tape,” he says. “But, the music is much more accessible as I’ve got no desire to be completely underground, but I’ve also got no desire to have my music bandied around everywhere you look. I want to be somewhere in-between.”
